Proclad was proud to welcome a series of delegations from the ADNOC Onshore Corporate Technical Centre to its Dubai facility, as part of a technical awareness visit aimed at deepening collaboration and supporting the UAE’s industrial growth strategy.

The visiting teams engaged with Proclad’s engineering specialists and toured the company’s fully integrated manufacturing plant, which brings together weld overlay cladding, hot induction bending, mechanically lined pipe (MLP) production, spool fabrication, and non-destructive testing (NDT) under one roof. The session provided a comprehensive overview of how Proclad’s capabilities align with ADNOC’s operational and technical priorities.

These visit builds on a longstanding relationship between ADNOC and Proclad. In early 2023, ADNOC signed multiple Letters of Intent and a Strategic Collaboration Agreement with FTV ProClad LLC to support the local manufacturing of critical components, including clad pipes and bends, pressure vessels, and flanges. These agreements directly support the In-Country Value (ICV) programme and the broader “Make it in the Emirates” initiative, which seeks to localise key elements of the oil and gas supply chain.

During the tours, the ADNOC team observed live demonstrations of advanced manufacturing techniques including automated weld overlay, high-precision induction bending, and digital NDT scanning. Discussions focused on technical alignment, quality control standards, and how ProClad’s end-to-end fabrication capabilities can reduce lead times and increase project efficiency.

The visit reaffirmed ADNOC’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with capable UAE-based manufacturers, and recognised ProClad’s role in delivering high-specification components for complex energy projects across the region.
