Monday to Friday - 6 hours per day

Outline of Roles & Responsibilities

• Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated recycling collection points.

• Vacuuming all relevant carpeted floors.

• Mopping floors with wet or damp mops using the correct coloured mop for each area.

• To dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves and fitments.  

• To replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) when required.

• To clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks.

• The use of chemical agents as directed by the Health and Safety Co-ordinator in the discharge of cleaning operations or maintenance procedures, after receiving proper instructions and training.  

• Ensuring all area are clean and tidy as all times.

• Experienced in cleaning of a manufacturing site.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• In addition to your normal duties, ensure all work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner as per company procedures.

• Ensure maximum productivity & adherence to Health & Safety procedures.

• Be proactive and work efficiently in daily tasks without the need for constant supervision.

• Can work efficiently and effectively as both part of a team or independently

• Good communication and time management skills

• Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task

• Accepts responsibility and willing to take on new challenges

• Able to use own initiative and be self-motivated
