FTV Proclad International Limited isa worldwide market and technological leader in the protective weld cladding of pipeline components.

Due to current success in securing orders we are currently looking to recruit a Material Handler to join our team at our Glenrothes facility. A market competitive wage will be offered depending on experience.  Benefits of employment include 33 days holiday per year on a pro-rata basis (including public holidays), an employer pension contribution of 5% of salary and life assurance.

Outline of Roles & Responsibilities

·        Movement of shop floor components in a safe manner.

·        Ensure the shop floor and back yard is kept neat and tidy at all times.

·        Ensure that the scrap metal and general waste are allocated to the designated skip.

·        Assist production personnel where required.

·        Assist with stores / packing where required.

·        Loading / unloading transport where required.

·        Daily filling of machines with oil / coolant as required.

·        Ad hoc duties as required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

·        In addition to your normal duties, ensure all work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner as per company procedures.

·        Ensure maximum productivity & adherence to Health & Safety procedures.

·        Be proactive and work efficiently in daily tasks without the need for constant supervision.

Education and / or Experience

·        Previous experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, lifting slings would be advantageous.

·        Good verbal communication skills.

·        Strong personality, well organised.

·        Self-motivated, well balanced.

·        Team player.
