The Lower Zakum Long-Term Development Plan (LTDP-1) – EPS-2/PDP Project forms part of ADNOC’s strategic offshore development program to optimise oil recovery and sustain production from one of Abu Dhabi’s most important offshore fields. The project includes significant infrastructure upgrades to Early Production Systems (EPS) and Production Deck Platforms (PDP), supporting the long-term efficiency and reliability of the field.
Proclad was engaged to deliver corrosion-resistant alloy (CRA) cladded piping systems for critical process lines within the upgraded surface facilities. Our scope covered weld overlay cladding, machining, pipe, fittings, and flanges – all manufactured in-house to ensure full control over quality and delivery timelines.
The offshore environment presented demanding specifications related to corrosion resistance, dimensional accuracy, and mechanical performance, especially in sour service conditions. Proclad’s integrated capabilities and track record in delivering for ADNOC’s offshore assets ensured a reliable solution with full traceability and compliance to international standards.
This project further strengthens Proclad’s position as a key partner for ADNOC in supporting the UAE’s long-term offshore energy infrastructure goals.
