The Upper Zakum 1.0 MMBD Sustain Phase 1 – Surface Facilities Project is a strategic initiative led by ADNOC Offshore to enhance and maintain oil production capacity at one of the largest offshore oil fields in the world. The project aims to sustain the field’s output at 1 million barrels per day (MMBD) through major upgrades to its surface facilities and supporting infrastructure.
Proclad was awarded a critical role in this development, supplying corrosion-resistant alloy (CRA) cladded pipes, fittings, and flanges, along with full prefabrication, inspection, and testing services. The materials were specifically engineered to withstand the harsh operating conditions associated with offshore oil production, including high pressure, temperature, and corrosive service.
